Designing with Empathy,
Built on Experience and Pixel Precision
for Real-World Problems
As a Senior Product Designer, I’m passionate about crafting clean interfaces, intuitive flows, and just the right touch of pixel perfection. My creative journey began in an ad agency, where I first discovered the power of layout, storytelling, and visual hierarchy. At the same time, I was exploring the world of computers—a connection that clicked instantly and shaped the course of my career.
Fast forward to today: I’ve designed everything from Flash-based experiences to modern, mobile-first products. I’ve led UX and product design at companies like Nokia, Verizon, and Citi—building solutions that strike a balance between technology and empathy. To me, great design is not just about aesthetics; it’s about clarity, usability, and emotional connection.
I often reflect on Steve Jobs' idea of “connecting the dots looking backward.” Every step in my journey—creative, technical, or unconventional—has led me to where I am: creating thoughtful, human-centered experiences for real people.
Over the past three years at Citi, I’ve grown from Senior UX Designer to Lead Designer and now Associate Creative Director. I’ve contributed to major initiatives in retail servicing and partner experience design, leading UX strategy for both servicing and acquisition flows. Beyond designing at scale, this role has strengthened my leadership, collaboration, and ability to drive impact in a global organization.
To better understand AI’s role in user experience, I completed a Postgraduate Program in Machine Learning and AI (PGMIAI).
This experience sharpened my approach to Human-Centered AI, merging data-driven technology with thoughtful design.
Blending UX with AI: A Transformative Learning Experience
Through my AI studies, I realized that the true power of AI lies not just in automation or efficiency but in how it can enhance human interaction with technology. I began exploring:
- AI-driven personalization for adaptive and intuitive UX.
- Conversational AI & NLP to improve chatbot interactions.
- Predictive analytics to support better design decisions.
- Computer vision for innovative user interfaces.
This journey helped me connect technology with design and think critically about AI’s role in UX while preserving usability, trust, and ethics.
AI-Driven Solutions & New Use Cases
After completing my postgraduate studies, I became more confident in integrating AI within product design. I now actively think about AI-driven solutions that enhance experiences, not complicate them:
- Identifying AI use cases that offer real value to users.
- Designing simple, human-centered AI interactions.
- Ensuring all AI features are transparent, ethical, and explainable.
Human-Centered AI: The Future of UX
This learning experience transformed my product design approach. I now view AI as more than just a tool—it’s a collaborator in creating intelligent, seamless, and ethical user experiences.
I continue to explore:
- New AI applications in product design.
- Balancing AI innovation with human needs.
- Pushing boundaries while maintaining trust and usability.
